Mandarin Chinese Language Classes - Session III

Two visiting professors from Beijing Foreign Studies University will be offering Mandarin classes under the auspices of the Confucius Institute at University of Hawai‘i at Manoa (CIUHM), to members of the University and local community.



Duration of the course: 10 weeks, 2 hours per class, once a week
Parking: $3 on Saturdays; free on Sundays
Location:Webster Hall Rooms 115 & 116; 2528 McCarthy Mall, UH Manoa

Saturday Classes

Class I. Kuaile/Happy Chinese II (Mandarin for intermediate-low level students)

Session I: 2/16/08 to 4/19/08, Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Session II: 4/26/08 to 6/28/08, Sundays, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pre-requisite: at least one year of Mandarin)

Time Sundays, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (7/6/08 to 9/7/08)
Text Book: Experiencing Chinese: Business Communication in China (Higher Education Press, Beijing, China)


Class Fee: $100 (includes tuition and textbook & teaching materials)
No refund after second week of class. Minimum 5 students to start each class; maximum 20 students
