The Confucius Institute at University of Hawai‘i at Manoa (CI-UHM) will be offering classes in Mandarin Chinese language to members of the University and local community.
Fall 2009 Classes
Registration
Please fax completed registration form to 956-2682 by September 18; bring completed registration form and tuition check to the first meeting of the class. Check should be made payable to East Asian Outreach.
Courses
Duration of the classes: 10 weeks, 2 hours per class, on Saturdays.
Location: Webster 116, UH Manoa
Parking on campus: $5
- Course I: Beginning—Pre-Intermediate Mandarin
Saturdays, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (9/19/09 to 11/21/09) - Course II: Intermediate Mandarin
Saturdays, 4:10 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. (9/19/09 to 11/21/09)
A course will be offered only if there is a minimum of 5 students enrolled.
Fees
Per course fee: $100 (tuition only; textbook & teaching materials will cost no more than $20, and will be available for purchase from your instructor on the first day of classes).
Refund Policy
No refunds will be given after the second week of class.
