The Chinese Ethnic Nationalities Program has been developed to promote a collaborative learning process among Chinese ethnic nationality studies specialists and Chinese and American students interested in the field, in an effort to analyze emerging trends in Chinese ethnic nationality communities and regions.
The University of Hawaii at Manoa is currently working to expand its relationship with China through the establishment of new partnerships with Chinese universities. CENP administrators have already begun to work with Chinese partners, Central University of Nationalities and Yunnan University, to create UHM-China student and faculty exchange programs and resource-sharing projects. UHM aims to further strengthen its relationship with China through partnerships of cooperation with Jishou University, Nanjing University, Tibet University, Guizhou University, Qinghai University for Nationalities, Southwest University for Nationalities, and Northwest University for Nationalities.
We encourage other Chinese universities interested in our Chinese Ethnic Nationalities Program and Online Database to contact us to discuss future cooperation between our institutions of education.
