Allopathic and Complementary Medicine

Abstract:

This paper introduces the concepts of and behind allopathic and complementary medicine. This paper is divided into five sections:
1. Review of common definitions of complementary and alternative medicine
2. Describe the association of these practices and allopathic medicine
3. Describe the five classifications of complementary and providing a dictionary of CAM terms
4. Discuss the use of CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) in Hawaii
5. Describe the future of CAM
