The Chinese Ethnic Nationalities Program has compiled a bibliography of resources to advance the study of Chinese ethnic nationalities. Resources are drawn from books, articles, journals, and websites throughout the world. The Chinese Ethnic Nationalities Program aims to promote the multi-disciplinary study of Chinese ethnic nationalities. For this reason, the Library Database does not focus on one specific subject area or region of Chinese ethnic nationalities. The user will find resources on all 56 ethnic nationalities, every Chinese province and autonomous region, and ranging from forestry to government policy.
The Library Database will provide the user with a list of search results that will aid in enhancing his/her research. A bibliographic search guide will help the user locate texts using the Database catalogs and other web resources. The user may conduct a basic search by selecting one or more of the fields within one of the three lists: Subject Area, Province/Region, and Nationality. If the user chooses to search a specific resource, he/she may select one or more of the fields within one of the three lists and/or specify the title and author of the resource they are looking for in the search box.
The user may select a specific resource from the list provided, after the search is conducted, to obtain the title, author, publisher, and copyright date of that resource. Certain resources will be available for view or download. A label of website/download will be seen next to the resource in the resource search list. Click on the website/download icon to be connected to the resources respective website or PDF file.
